MUNICH (Germany) – The FIBA Europe Cup single-game rebounds record has been broken for a second time in the current Regular Season after Travis Taylor hauled down 21 boards, on Wednesday.

The American’s huge effort on the glass for Keravnos BC in their 97-90 defeat to Itelyum Varese with previous record breaker Willie Cauley-Stein in opposition – having had his 20-rebound feat in the reverse fixture last month.

Taylor had also recorded 19 rebounds in that encounter, but had an even bigger individual night to set the new competition record.

The 33-year-old has plenty of experience in FIBA Europe Cup action with previous spells at Egis Kormend and Bakken Bears as well as Le Havre in the inaugural season with a combined 403 rebounds – second only behind Michel Diouf.
